Don Kern

Adventurer, marathon runner, computer guy, writer.

Summer of 1998 completed the running of a marathon (26.2 miles) on all seven continents.  November 2003 completed running marathons in all 50 states and DC.

Completed 86 marathons since running the first one in October 1995. Currently running at least one marathon per month. 

1995-96 served as Editor of the Michigan Jaycees Michigander Magazine. During that year, the Michigander was selected as the #1 State Publication in the US by the United States Junior Chamber of Commerce.

Volunteer as a personal development speaker for the Michigan Jaycees. 

1988 - 1990 served as Village President for the Village of Martin, Michigan. Administered building of a municipal water system during that time.

Have worked for 26 years as a self-employed consultant/trainer/programmer in the computer field.
