Midsummer's Madness Marathon Relay

Did you love the course from The Groundhog Marathon but wish you’d had a great group of people to share the experience with?

Did you miss out on the raucous celebration of winter that is The Frostbite Marathon because you’re scared of a little cold?

Meet the Midsummer’s Madness Marathon Relay!

On Friday, August 1st this “half way to Groundhog Day” race will meld together the beautiful Groundhog course with the celebratory relay style of Frostbite.

At 6:30 that evening, teams of 2 or 6 runners will compete against each other along the magnificent Millennium Park course.

Location: Kent County Park Headquarters trailhead. 475 Butterworth SW, Grand Rapids, Michigan

Race entry earns you an awesome event tshirt (guaranteed not to be just one more race shirt in your closet), delicious food, cool beverages, music, and a party you’re sure to remember. To top it all off, awards will be given to the top finishers in both the 2 and 6 person relay teams, with categories for men’s, women’s, and coed teams (Six person Coed teams must include at least three women!). So grab some great running buddies, put that team together, and gear up for a summer celebration you’re sure to remember!
